Edward R. Stern, Jr. Edward R. Stern, Jr. , 50, of Brockton passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center, Brockton after a brief battle with cancer. Born January 27, 1961 in Attleboro, MA he was the son of Edward R. Stern, Sr. and Marie M. (Martineau) Stern. Edward was previously employed by PA Landers as a construction laborer and New England Retail as an independent driver. He had a special interest in carpentry and was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and the Boston Celtics. He is survived by his parents, Edward R. Stern, Sr. and Marie M. (Martineau) Stern; his sister Dawn (Stern) DiIorio and her husband Cosimo; his nephews, Paul and Anthony DiIorio. He was fond of his special auntie Kathy (Stern) Snelgrove. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts,cousins and his best friend Ollie. Funeral Information Funeral service in the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Monday at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
