Obituary

Edward C. “Ted” Pierce, 73 of Wareham passed away peacefully April 1, 2016. He had been a lifetime resident of Brockton prior to his retirement from the Brockton Highway Department. In retirement Ted split his time between Wareham and Indiantown, FL with many friends and family.
His passions included fishing, golf, bowling, baseball and spending time and enjoying his grandchildren.
Ted is survived by his wife Lela (Melendy) Pierce; his children Tammy Joyce of Wareham, Edward Pierce and his wife Amy of Pembroke and Jane Matta and her husband Brian of Brockton; nine grand and two great grandchildren as well as special nieces and nephews. He was also brother to the late Beverly Ainslee and June Barris.
Visiting hours will be in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Tuesday 4-7pm. Funeral service in the funeral home Wednesday at 10:30am with burial immediately following in Melrose Cemetery.
