Obituary

YOUNG of Brockton, September 28, 2004, after a brief illness at Caritas Good Samaritan Hosptial, Edward J. Young, 83 years. Beloved husband of Fay J. (Bousquet). Loving father of Elaine Eldred of Vermont, Craig Young of Arizona, and Nancy Champdelaine of Vermont. Son in law of Gladys Bousquet. Dear brother of Shirley Hanson of Brockton, and the late Louise McCullough. Also survived by 9 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral from J. Frank Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St., (Rte. 123), Brockton, Friday at 8:00 AM. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 9:00 AM. Cremation to followed. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations maybe made in memory of Edward to the American Heart Assoc. 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.

Born in Worcester to the late James & Anna L. (Kelly) Young. United States Navy veteran serving in the Pacific during WWII. He enjoyed golfing, bowling and many nights ballroom, and round dancing with his wife for over 20 years. Edward also enjoyed working on his computer. Mr. Young retired in 1984 from Sherman-Williams. Edward was a member of VFW #697 Whitman, and Our lady of Lourdes Church.
