Online Obituaries Edward Joseph Zamaitis, 86, of West Bridgewater, MA formerly of Brockton, MA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 4, 2014, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Elizabeth Betty (Janulis) Zamaitis. Cherished son of Andrew Zamaitis and Beatrice (Zinkevicz) Zamaitis, and brother of many siblings. Loving father of Dr. Edward Zamaitis, D.M.D. and wife Gail Dooley-Zamaitis of North Falmouth, MA and Linda Marino and husband Dr. Paul Marino, D.D.S. of West Bridgewater, MA; proud grandfather of Shaina Zamaitis, Esq. of San Francisco, CA, Andrea Villani, Esq. and husband Joseph Villani, Esq. of Verona, NJ., and Dr. Corinne Coughlin, D.M.D. and husband Kevin Coughlin of Duxbury, MA; Papa to his cherished great grandchildren, Josephine Josie Villani, Rhyan Coughlin and Meryn Coughlin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was a Naval Veteran as a submarine engineer in World War II and had an unwavering love for his country. Edward was a plant engineer of Brockton Sole and Plastics for numerous years. He had a passionate love for his family and his Lithuanian Heritage. He was an avid outdoorsman and was an accomplished fisherman, hunter and gardener, passing on these loves to his children and grandchildren. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Saturday, June 7th at 10:00AM.
