Dwyer, of N. Easton, formerly of Brockton, March 2, 2003, Eileen A. (Hogan) Dwyer, 77 years. Wife of the late Edward W. Dwyer. Mother of Kathleen M. O’Leary and her husband Edmund, Paul E. Dwyer, and Patricia E. Newcomb and her husband Roger. Grandmother of Sean M. O’Leary, Timothy P. O’Leary, Paul R. Newcomb and Roger E. Newcomb. Great grandmother of Kaitlin, Thomas and Meghan O’Leary and Emily Newcomb. Sister of Leona M. Moore and Edward R. Hogan.

Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Thursday at 8am. Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, N. Easton at 9am. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, W. Bridgewater. Visiting Hours Wednesday 4-8pm. Donations may be made to the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation, New England Chapter, 280 Hillside Avenue, Needham, MA.

Obituary Information

Died unexpectedly Sunday at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center, Brockton. Born in Brockton, she was a daughter of the late William E. and Lille (Backlund) Hogan. She had been a resident of Brockton until moving to Easton in 1981. She was a graduate of Brockton High School, class of 1943. She had been employed for over 25 years in the Mortgage Department of the downtown branch of Peoples Savings Bank. She enjoyed the beach, reading and time spent with her family.

She is survived by two daughters Kathleen M. O’Leary of Sagamore Beach, and Patricia E. Newcomb of Brockton, one son Paul E. Dwyer of Onset, 4 grandsons, and 4 great grandchildren, one sister Leona M. Moore of Brockton and one brother Edward R. Hogan of Maine. She was the wife of the late Edward W. Dwyer and sister of the late Barbara Creed
