Obituary

Elaine Boucher, age 87, of Brockton, died peacefully on December 7, 2024 at Good Samaritan Medical Center. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Lorenzo and Alvera (Brazil) Boucher. Elaine was raised and educated in Roxbury and received her Associates Degree from Bunker Hill Community College.

After raising her family, she worked as a telephone operator for the Medical Area Service Company which serviced Boston area hospitals.

Devoted to her family, Elaine was a spunky, fun loving and good person who thought the best of everyone. She was active in her church and for many years was a USO volunteer.

Elaine was the loving mother of Anthony Morra, Jr. of Brockton, Suzanne Morra of Brockton, Eliott Morra and his wife Kim of Framingham, Mark Morra and his wife Tina of Arlington, TN and the late Diane Jerzylo, Joseph Morra and John Anthony Morra and she was the mother in law of the late Stephen Jerzylo. She was the sister of Carol Jones of East Bridgewater and the late Donald Boucher. She was blessed with 16 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting Hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, on Wednesday, December 11, from 4:30-7:30pm. The funeral procession will gather at the funeral home Thursday at 9:30am for a Funeral Mass in Christ the King Church, 54 Lyman Street, Brockton, at 10:30am. Burial will be held at a later date in Calvary Cemetery.
