Obituary

Elaine A. (Christopher) Francis, age 70, of Brockton, died April 17, 2014 at her home surrounded by family. She was the wife of the late William Francis. Elaine was born in Boston, daughter of the late William J. and Mary (Hennebury) Christopher. She was raised in South Boston and Dorchester and had been a resident of Brockton for the past 40 years. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchild, and enjoyed trips to Foxwoods and playing Bingo.

Elaine was the mother of Edward Robinson and his wife Audrey of Brockton, Thomas Robinson of Brockton, Janet Churchill and her husband Edward of Brockton, Patricia Biagini and her husband Andy of West Bridgewater and Christopher Francis and his wife Stephanie of Brockton; grandmother of Nicole Robinson, Donald Blanchard, Kristen Churchill, Edward Churchill, Jr., Matthew Francis, Emma Francis, and Caydence Francis; and great grandmother of Kailynn McPhee. She also leaves two brothers Arthur Christopher and his wife Linda of Wolfboro, NH and William Christopher, Jr. of New York; two sisters Mary Welch of Brockton and Anne Clinton of Roslindale and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Rita McCarthy.

A family Graveside Service will be held at a later date in Pine Hill Cemetery.
