Online Obituaries Elaine M. (Dayos) Liatsos, 75, of Yarmouthport and formerly of Brockton, passed away Monday, June 9, 2014 at her home under the care of her family and hospice. She was the beloved wife of Arthur Liatsos for 52 years. Born July 22, 1938 in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late John Dayos and Eftihia (Nenopoulos) Dayos. Raised in Brockton she graduated from Brockton High School. She worked for the Brockton VNA for 20 years. Elaine was a Volunteer Coordinator for Life Choice Hospice. Elaine enjoyed volunteering, she volunteered for the Cape Cod Cancer Consignment Shop. She was a Trustee for the Yarmouthport Library. Elaine was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Centerville where she initiated the Prayer Shawl Ministry Group. While living in Brockton, she was a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church and the Ladies Philoptochos Society. She enjoyed spending time on Cape Cod with her family and friends. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Juliana Snow and her husband Dan of Marshfield, Christine S. Tartaglia of West Bridgewater and James J. Liatsos and his wife Barbara of Milford; she is also survived by 8 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was the sister of the late Dorothea Gatsoulis and Nicholas J. Dayos and mother-in-law of the late Chuckie Tartaglia. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Friday, June 13th at 9:00AM followed by a funeral service in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 457 Oak St., Brockton at 10:00AM.
