Obituary

Elaine Manning died January 2, 2013 in the St. Joseph Manor following a period of failing health. She was born in Brockton, the daughter of the late Atty. Raymond L. and Stella (Kijanski) Manning and was the sister of the late Leo Manning, Sr. Miss Manning attended Brockton schools, graduating from Brockton High School in 1958 and from Salve Regina College in 1962. She was an elementary school teacher in the Middletown, RI school system 1962-1990 as well as a teacher of English as a Second Language. She is survived by a niece Mary Delacy of Vermont, nephews Leo Jr., John, Robert, and Stephen Manning all of Massachusetts and eight grand-nieces and nephews.
A funeral procession will gather at the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123), Brockton, Wednesday January 9, at 9 am. Funeral Mass in the St. Edith Stein Parish at 10 am. Burial at Calvary Cemetery, Brockton. Visiting hours are omitted.
