Elaine L. Reed

Elaine L. (Columbare) Reed, age 77 of South Easton, passed away on August 13, 2026 at Boston Medical Center- South in Brockton. She was the wife of the late Michael J. Reed.

Born and raised in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Cardona and Gloria (Picozzi) Columbare.

She was a 1966 graduate of Roslindale High School and obtained her para-legal certificate from the Boston Business School.

Elaine worked as a para-professional for many years, and as a Sales Associate for J.C. Penney for 20 years.

She will be remembered for her love of her dogs and grandchildren, her many nieces and nephews, her love of reading, being an amazing cook, and her love of cleaning.

Elaine is survived by her daughters Heather MacDonald of Old Orchard Beach, ME, Michelle Reed and her partner Scott Whidden of Danvers, Shannon Bromm and her husband John Bromm of Danvers, Megan Heath of Lakeville, her son Scott MacDonald of Pawtucket, R.I., her grandchildren Bailey Reed of Danvers, Logan Heath of Lakeville, Reagan Heath of Lakeville, Aidan Bromm of Danvers, Gabriel Berberick of Old Orchard Beach, ME and Samuel MacDonald of Pawtucket, RI.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026, from 10 am -12 pm, with a funeral service beginning at 12:00 pm in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, Brockton, MA.
