Eleanor Mae (MacDonald) Adams, 80, of Brockton and formerly of Peck St, Attleboro, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2016 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center. She was the wife of the late John L. Adams.
Born June 1, 1935 in Attleboro, she was the daughter of the late Harold W. MacDonald and Margaret A. (Oakley) MacDonald. Raised in Attleboro, she graduated from Attleboro High School and then received her degree in computer programming from Massasoit Community College.
Eleanor work for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Welfare Department in Brockton for over 25 years.
She enjoyed music, photography, plants, crafting and especially traveling to St. Louis.
She is survived by her children, Janice K. Wilson, Jeanne C. Davis, Dean W. Adams and his wife Nancy and Andrea J. Adams; her grandchildren, Teresa, Andrew, Alexander Wilson, Jason Barchard, Christopher, Jenifer Davis, Matthew, Michelle, Mary, Mark and Daniel Adams; she is also survived by several great grandchildren.

Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Wednesday, April 13th from 3:00-6:30PM followed by a funeral service at 6:30PM. Private cremation to follow.
