Eleanor A. (Iannazzi) Bachand, 89, of Middleboro passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2023 at the Royal Cape Cod Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Buzzard's Bay. She was the wife of the late Raymond Bachand.

Born on December 21, 1933 in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Scotti) Iannazzi. Growing up in Watertown, Eleanor attended the Katharine Gibbs Secretarial School, which was considered the "Harvard of Secretarial Schools".

Eleanor worked as the secretary to the Mayor of Boston, secretary to Architect in Brockton, and as a secretary to a firm in Marston Mills.

She is survived by her children Linda Raymond, Marilyn Marshalsea, Cindy Byrne, Charles Marshalsea, Jr. and Marianne Marshalsea; her grandchildren Ryan, Tom, Kevin, Kelly, Matthew, Michael, Gina and Maddie; great-grandchildren Mya, TJ, Noah, Cora, Charlotte, Declan, Reagan, Peter and Riley; and her siblings Regina Burke and Robert Iannazzi.
