Obituary

Eleanor L. (Brooks) Coelho 85, of West Bridgewater died November 26, 2007 in the Life Care Center of West Bridgewater. She was born raised and educated in Brockton and was the daughter of the late John and Louise (McCarthy) Brooks. Mrs. Coelho has been a resident of W. Bridgewater since 1950.

Eleanor was a loving mother and homemaker and raised four sons along with her late husband Edward P. Coelho who died in 1998. In earlier years she enjoyed travel especially the vacations she and her family took to PEI, Nova Scotia, and Montreal and of course Cape Cod. She will be remembered as a quiet lady who enjoyed watching and talking to the neighborhood kids, taking care of her home and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Eleanor leaves her four sons Edward of Berkley, David of Plympton, Gerald of Carver and Philip of W. Bridgewater; 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, 1 niece, and 2 nephews. She also was the grandmother to the late Melissa Coelho.

The funeral will be from the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Friday at 8:45 followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Ann Church W. Bridgewater at 10 AM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery. Visiting Hours Thursday 4-8 PM.
