Obituary

Eleanor M. “Ellie”(Biladeau) Hanson age 83 of Brockton and West Bridgewater died peacefully Tuesday July 12, 2016. She is now reunited with her late husband Carl who was the love of her life. Ellie was born in Brockton and raised in West Bridgewater, a daughter of the late Leon and Josephine (Sullivan) Biladeau. At the age of 12, she moved to Brockton to live in the family home for over 70 years. For the past year Ellie has lived with her devoted daughter Joanne in West Bridgewater.

Ellie had worked as a quality control inspector for Chadwick’s of Boston for ten years. Primarily Ellie was a homemaker devoted to her family and home. She loved to sew, cook, country western dancing, camping and taking cruises.

In addition to her daughter Joanne Hanson, Ellie is survived by her best friend for over 68 years Frances Osborne of West Bridgewater.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday July 18 at 9 am in St. Ann Church, 95 N. Main St., W. Bridgewater. Burial will be at a later date. Visiting hours are omitted. Please omit flowers and consider making a donation in Ellie’s name to the charity of your choice.
