Obituary

Eleanor M. (Barron) O’Donnell age 88 of Brockton, died Monday October 29, 2018 at Curahealth Hospital in Stoughton. She was widowed at a young age when her husband James O’Donnell died. She was born in Brockton a daughter of the late John and Margaret (Regan) Barron and remained a lifelong resident of Brockton.

A graduate of Brockton High School, Eleanor had been a bookkeeper at A.F. German Auto Supply for many years and had also worked at the Charity Guild both in Brockton.

Eleanor loved to go to the beach and also spending time with her grandchildren.

Eleanor was the mother of Kathleen Dwyer and her husband Donald of Norwell and the late Steven O’Donnell. She was also the step-mother of James O’Donnell of Middleboro. Eleanor was the sister of Mary Clay of McMinville, OR and the late Robert Barron. She also leaves several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services were held in Calvary Cemetery on Friday November 2, 2018.
