Obituary

Eleanor M. Rock, 75, of Brockton died peacefully at home December 13, 2013. Eleanor is the longtime companion of Alcides “Al” Beleza. She has been a lifetime resident of Brockton and was the daughter of the late Arthur and Evelyn (Tirrell) Rich. Eleanor worked for many years for the Howard Johnson Company here in Brockton and then for some time for Burger King. She will be remembered with love as a wonderful and devoted mother and grandmother.

In addition to Al she is survived by her five sons; John J. Jr, Dale L., Steven D., Timothy M. and his wife, Ilene and Danny W. Sr. Rock all of Brockton; her siblings Warren Rich Sr. of East Bridgewater, Barbara Cifelli of West Bridgewater and Ruth Lariviere of West Bridgewater; her grandchildren; Kevin Herrett of MA, Krista Orsie of ME, Joseph Orsie of Brockton, Danny Rock Jr. of ME, Tabitha Cardona of Fitchburg, Linzey Rock and Annjala Rock of Brockton, 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a funeral service in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Wednesday at 12:30 pm with burial immediately following in Pine Hill Cemetery West Bridgewater.
