Eleanor L. Samia 98, of Brockton died on Friday September 5th at Saint Elizabeths Medical Center in Brighton Massachusetts after a brief illness.

Eleanor was born on March 27, 1927 in Brockton Massachusetts she was the daughter of the late Rose and Bolus Saba. She was a lifetime resident of Brockton and graduated from Brockton Business School.

Eleanor worked as a Bookkeeper and an Inventory Leader.

Eleanor enjoyed spending time with her loved ones and visits to the Casinos.

She was predeceased by her husband Henry and her loving daughter Diane.

She was the sister of the late Rosemarie (Saba) and her late husband Arthur Sylvaria. Albert and Raymond Saba, and the late Phillip M. Saba and wife Catherine. She is survived by her sister-in-law Susan Saba of Portland Maine and her sister Dorothy Saba of Brockton Massachusetts, as well as many Nieces and Nephews.

Calling hours will be in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Friday, September 12th from 8:30AM-10:30AM thence to St. Theresa Maronite Catholic Church, 343 North Main St., Brockton where Funeral Service of the Divine Mysteries will be celebrated at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Saint Theresa Maronite Catholic Church, PO Box#2567, Brockton, MA 02305.
