Eleni (Vlahos) Rizopoulou Eleni (Vlahos) Rizopoulou , 100, of Brockton, passed away Thursday, Janaury 27, 2011 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton surrounded be her family after a brief illness. Born October 9, 1910 in Kastoria, Greece, she came to the United States in 1997, where she resided with her daughter, Anastasia Grantsis and her son-in-law Gregorios Grantsis. In addition to her daughter and son-in-law, she is survived by her grandson, Vasilios Grantsis and his wife Deana; her five great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Anastasia, Gregory, Peter and Stefanie Grantsis; her great-great granddaughter, Kaylee Grantsis. She was the mother of the late Paniyiotis Vlahos and grandmother of the late Charlie Grantsis. Funeral Information Funeral Services in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 457 Oak St., Brockton on Monday, January 31st at 10:00AM. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
