Eli (Ristani) Bode, 66, of Brockton passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2020 at the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital. She was the wife of Dhimitri Bode. Eli was born in Voskopoje, Albania on May 30, 1954 to her late parents, father Rafail and mother Frosina. She moved to the United States in the spring of 2000 with her husband and two daughters and settled in Brockton. Eli was an exceptional cook, and would spend the majority of her time in her kitchen experimenting with her favorite recipes flavored with her herbs from her own garden. She opened her heart and always welcomed family and friends at her home. She was also an active member, heavily involved at her favorite church, St George Albanian Orthodox Cathedral in South Boston. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading and spending time with her grandchildren who were the light of her life and center of her attention. Eli was a loving and caring wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Her beautiful smile, kind heart and unconditional love will remain with us forever. Eli is survived by her husband Dhimitri, daughters Vasilika and Eda, and six grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Friday, July 10th at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
