Elia Louis Joseph "Lou" of Brockton passed away on December 15, 2021 of natural causes surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband for 46 years to the late Barbara M. (Hardy) Joseph and son of the late Luka and Ellen Joseph. Devoted father of Leslie A. Joseph and her partner Dianne McCarthy of Westwood and Christopher L. Joseph and his wife Kristin of Upton. He was the beloved Grandfather "Papa" of 5 grandchildren. Noah and Riley Joseph of Westwood. Michael, Grace, and Matthew Joseph of Upton. Lou was born in Southbridge MA. At an early age he proudly made Brockton his home and worked and resided there for his entire life. Lou was an avid golfer and a long time member of his beloved Thorney Lea G.C. Chasing the sunshine was also a passion of Lou and his wife Barbara, spending many New England winter's in Florida with their many friends and family. A remembrance ceremony will be held, December 22nd at the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont Street, (Rte. 123) Brockton, from 10:00-11:00 AM. The family respectfully asks that anyone attending this ceremony please wear a mask and follow appropriate protocols. A private interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
