Obituary

Elinor M. (Ryan) Sparks, 91, died peacefully in her sleep in hospice care at Country Villa in Glendale, California on November 2, 2007. She is survived by her three sons, James and his wife Ellen, John and H. William and his wife Karen; three grandchildren, Jay, Patrick, and Maura, and nine great-grandchildren, Jamison, Gavin, Cole, Nell, Maxmillian and Pauline Sparks; and Michael, William and Henry Soojian. She retired from a long and busy working life in 1988. Her last position was as an NASD-certified securities salesperson for the Los Angeles brokerage firm, Adams-Fastnow, Inc. In retirement, she worked as an extra in movies and television and can still be seen occasionally, in reruns, in the background behind some of her favorite movie and TV personalities.

Members of her family and friends will gather Friday April 18, 2008 at 11 am in Calvary Cemetery 163 N. Cary St, Brockton for the interment of her cremated remains, and celebration for her life.
