Elisabeth (Coufos) Jacoubs
, 93, of Falmouth, North Easton, Brockton, and Vero Beach, Florida, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at the JML Care Center in Falmouth. She was the Wife of the late Dr. Edward L. G. Jacoubs for 64 years.
Born September 14, 1917 in New York City, New York, she was the daughter of the late Constantine Coufos and Clara (Ebner) Coufos. She was a Graduate of Monmouth College and Hunter College.
She was a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Brockton and St. George's Greek Orthodox Church of Cape Cod in Centerville. She enjoyed golf and bridge and was a member of Thorny Lea Golf Club in Brockton.
She is survived by and already greatly missed by her children: Patricia Davis and her husband Ted of North Falmouth, Jean Alexis and her husband George of Marshfield, Edward Jacoubs and his wife Peri of Brockton; her grandchildren Paul Davis and his wife Paula Jinbo, Pandora Davis and her husband Jan King, Ted Davis and his wife Heidi, Christina Beauclair and her husband John, Kosta Alexis and his wife Esta, Louis and Nicolas Jacoubs; Great YiaYia to Theodore, George, Nathaniel, Hannah, Natalie and Jack. She was the mother of the late James Jacoubs.
Funeral Information
Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Monday, August 8th at 9:00AM followed by a funeral service in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 457 Oak St., Brockton at 10:00AM. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home Sunday 4:00-7:00PM.
