Grandmother of Harry Rubin of Nashua, NH; Audrey Webber of Hudson, NH; Kathleen Barboza of Swansea; Michael Ashmore of Attleboro; Robert Ashmore of New Jersey. Sister of Anne C. Gleason of Boston. Mother- in- law of Harry Rubin, Sr. of Florida.

Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Tuesday at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Colman Church at 9 AM. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting Hours Monday 4-8 PM.

Obituary

Mrs. Ashmore died Friday at the Brockton Hospital. She was born in Lowell, daughter of the late Charles and Maryellen (Lane) Gleason and had been a resident of Brockton for the past 8 years – most recently she was a resident at West Acres Nursing Home. Previously she resided many years in Nashua, NH. She was raised and educated in Lowell. She had been employed in the shoe industry in Lowell for many years.She loved solving crossword puzzles.

She was the wife of the late Hugh T. Ashmore, Sr. Mother of H. Thomas Ashmore and his wife Alice of Brockton, and the late Linda R. Ruben and Robert C. Ashmore. Grandmother of Harry Rubin of Nashua, NH; Audrey Webber of Hudson, NH; Kathleen Barboza of Swansea; Michael Ashmore of Attleboro; Robert Ashmore of New Jersey. Sister of Anne C. Gleason of Boston. Mother- in- law of Harry Rubin, Sr. of Florida. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren
