Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street ((Rte 123) Brockton Tuesday at 8 am. Funeral Mass in Christ the King Parish (formerly St. Colman Church) at 9 am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting hours Monday 2-4 & 6-8pm.
Obituary
Elizabeth L. "Betty" (Cook) Nessralla, 85 years, died Friday morning at the Blue Hills Alzheimer’s Care Center in Stoughton. She was born and raised in Brockton, a daughter of the late Leroy A. and Daisy I. (Dunbar) Cook. Mrs. Nessralla was a lifelong resident of Brockton, a graduate of Brockton High School Class of 1938 and also graduated from the former Brockton Business School. Before her marriage, she was employed at Knapp Shoe, the former First National Bank and Fore River Ship Yard. During WWII she served in the US Navy as a Wave. She enjoyed sewing, flower gardening, solving the daily crossword puzzles, spending time with her family and was an animal lover, especially of her dogs and cats
She is survived by one daughter Mary E. Nessralla and one son Paul E. Nessralla both of Brockton, two brothers David Cook of Norfolk, MA and John Cook of Centennial, Colorado, 17 nieces and nephews and many grand and great grand nieces and nephews.
She was the wife of the late Edward C. Nessralla and sister of the late Ruth Chamberlain, Claire Cook, Harry S. Cook and Robert Cook.
