McClay of Brockton April 23, 2002, Elizabeth M. “Betsy” (Pollock) McClay, 55 years. Beloved wife of William H. McClay. Loving mother of Deborah Gallegos of Brocktonand Emerie (Gallegos) Slattery and her husband Scott of Pelham, NH. Grandmother of Dana, Isabel and Molly Slattery. Sister of Robert Pollock of Waltham and Brian Pollock of Framingham.

Funeral from J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Friday at 9 am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 10 am. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 12:30 pm. Visiting Hours Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Mrs. McClay died Tuesday morning at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after a lengthy illness. She was born in Newton, daughter of the late Robert F. and Barbara A. (McCarty) Pollock and was raised and educated in the Auburndale section of Newton. Since 1997 she has been a resident of Brockton, previously lived for 10 years in N. Anson, Maine.

Betsy was a homemaker in her own home. She enjoyed hooking rugs, needlepoint, traveling and dining out. Survived by her husband William H.
