Obituary

Elizabeth F. Spaulding (Reardon) age 93, of Duxbury, passed away on June 27, 2025, at Bay Path Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Duxbury. She was the wife of the late Thomas E. Spaulding, Sr.

Born and raised in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Jeremiah G. and Florence E. (Bisbee) Reardon.
Elizabeth worked as a medical transcriber for Brockton Orthopedics for many years before retiring in 1991.

Elizabeth's family was very important to her and was the center of her world. She was a great listener. She was very loving, patient, and dependable. She was also an avid reader who loved visiting the West Bridgewater Public Library. In life she enjoyed traveling, walking and knitting.

Elizabeth is survived by her children, Thomas E. Spaulding Jr, and his wife Valerie Franks of Bedford, Brian Spaulding of Taunton, and Nancy J. Derouen and her husband Peter of Halifax; a sister Barbara LaFranchise and husband Arthur of Dennis; seven grandchildren, Richard Spaulding, Andrew Spaulding, Brian Spaulding Jr., Matthew Spaulding, Christine Ferland, Joshua Derouen, and Marissa Derouen; two great grandchildren, Russell Ferland and Claire Ferland; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to visit with Elizabeth's family on Thursday, July 3, 2025, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 am, in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton. Interment will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be made to the West Bridgewater Public Library.
