Twohig of Brockton July 20, 2006 Elizabeth C. (McHugh) Twohig. Loving wife for 52 years of the late Edward J. Twohig. Beloved mother of Marybeth Schulte and her husband John of Wellesley; Paul Twohig and his wife Mary of Hilton Head Island, SC; Joanne Grossman and her husband Stephen of Foxboro and John Twohig and his wife Susan of Brockton. She also leaves the many joys of her life Michael, Emily and Patrick Schulte, Shannon and Kerry Twohig, Anne, Joseph, Beth and Timothy Grossman and Edward and Benjamin Twohig.

Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Tuesday at 10 am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 11 am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton. Obituary Information

Elizabeth C. (McHugh) Twohig, wife of the late Edward J. Twohig, died Thursday July 20, 2006, after a brief illness. She had been a life long resident of Brockton until three years ago when she went to live with her daughter Joanne. Born in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Emily (Thornell) and Peter McHugh.

She graduated from Brockton High School and the Fisher School and had been a secretary at Children’s Aid Society and Sandler Fenton Shoe. After raising her four children she worked along side her husband in his local business.

She leaves her children, Marybeth and John Schulte of Wellesley, Paul and Mary Twohig of Hilton Head Island, SC, Joanne and Stephen Grossman of Foxboro and John and Susan Twohig of Brockton. She also leaves the many joys of her life, her eleven grandchildren, Michael, Emily and Patrick Schulte, Shannon and Kerry Twohig, Anne, Joseph, Beth and Timothy Grossman and Edward and Benjamin Twohig.
