Obituary

Ellen R. Holman, age 76, of Brockton, passed away on Friday, November 5, 2021, at Boston Medical Center. She was the loving wife of Paul T. Holman. Born and raised in Winchester, MA, she was the daughter of the late Arthur B. and Colette M. (Langlois) Gowing.

Ellen was very family oriented and devoted to making special memories for her three children, their spouses, husband and six grandchildren. She loved to read and spend her time making beautiful handmade books.

In addition to her husband Paul, she leaves her three children, Thomas P. Holman and his wife Christine, Jeffrey D. Holman and his wife Susan, and Laura G. Holman, as well as six grandchildren, and her brother Peter Gowing and sister-in-law, Sandy Gowing. She was the sister of the late David Gowing.

To honor Ellen’s wishes, all funeral services will be privately held. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
