Eloisa Victoria Marchant Baker de Lugo passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021 at her home in Brockton. She was the wife of the late Bienvenido Enrique Lugo Alvarez. Born January 15, 1936 in San Pedro De Macoris, Dominican Republic she was the daughter of the late Charles Elrrey and Marie (Baker) Marchant. Eloisa was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses when she was 14 years old. She enjoyed spending time with her loving family and reading. She is survived by her children; Merick Williams, Marie Lugo, Felipe Lugo, Noe Lugo, Isaias Lugo and Ruth Lugo De Bolan; a sister, Eulalia Davis; a brother, Patrick Marchant; 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 11, from 10:00am to 12:00pm, due to COVID, for immediate family only, in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St. (Rt.123) Brockton. A graveside service will follow at 12:30pm in the Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Due to COVID, all arrangements are in harmony with COVID safety guidelines. Please meet the funeral procession at the funeral home at 12 noon, but remain in your car and follow the onsite directions. At the grave site, please maintain social distancing.
