Elpis M. Pappas (Tremmas), 97, of Brockton, passed away peacefully in her home with her family by her side on Wednesday, August 28, 2024. She was the beloved wife of Michael C. Pappas (Papadimopoulos) of 59 years, and loving mother of Paula Pappas and Marilyn Pappas-McAllister. Born February 4, 1927, in Eratyra, Kozani, Greece, she was the daughter of the late Demetrios and Melpomeni Tremmas.

She worked as a seamstress in Greece and in the Brockton area for many years. She loved spending time with her loving family and friends, telling and listening to stories and always had a special sense of humor. She was a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Brockton.

She is survived by her daughters, Paula Pappas and Marilyn Pappas-McAllister; her son-in-law, Mark McAllister; and her cherished grandson, Alexander Michael Pappas-McAllister. She is also survived by her brother Dionysios Tremmas and many nephews, nieces and loved ones in Greece.

Calling hours in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 457 Oak St., Brockton on Wednesday, September 4th from 11:30AM-12:30PM followed by a funeral service at 12:30PM. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton
