Elvira P. "Tchu Tcha" (Rodrigues) Barros, 81, passed away Monday, June 5  2023 at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. She was the wife of the late Severino Barros.

Born July 20, 1941 in Fogo, Cape Verde she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Ana "Iloma" (Pina) Rodrigues.

She is survived by her children, Ana Barros, Maria Silva and Bartolomeu "Bart" Barros. grandchildren, George Barros, Allan Silva, Rolando A. Barros, Aaliyah Barros, Kaaliyah Barros and Daeaneira Monteiro; sister of Jeronima Rodrigues and Olivio Rodrigues. She was the mother of the late, Rolando  Barros and the sister of the late, Arlindo Rodrigues, Jose Rodrigues, Olivia Rodrigues and Maria Da Luz (DaSilva) Rodrigues

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 13th at 9:00AM in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St.(Rt.123) Brockton followed by a funeral Mass at 10:00AM in St. Edith Stein Parish, 71 East Main St., Brockton. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours will be Monday, June 12th from 4:00 to 8:00PM.
