Online Obituaries Emily L. (Lupica) Merra, 94, of Brockton, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2016 at the Guardian Center in Brockton. She was the wife of the late Frank A. Merra. Born November 14, 1922 in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Lupica and Louisa (Conora) Lupica. A lifelong Brockton resident, she graduated from Brockton High School. Emily worked for the George Knight Company in Brockton. She enjoyed music, playing piano and crafts. She had taught CCD at St. Edwards Church. She loved composing and sharing original poems with her family to celebrate milestone birthdays and special events. She is survived by her sister, Virginia McDonald of Brockton and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Frances A. Merra and sister of the late Dominic Lupica, Mary Capiferri, Josephine Kelley, Catherine Markella, Marion Lupica, Peter G. Lupica, Guido Lupica, William Lupica, Nicky Lupica, Geraldine Condon, Rose Lupica and George Lupica. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) BROCKTON on Tuesday at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton.
