Emily M. (Pina) Smith Emily M. (Pina) Smith , 63, of Brockton, formerly of Hyannis passed away Sunday, May 25, 2014 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She is survived by a daughter; Josephine T. Shanks of Brockton; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Nina T. Pina and the sister of the late John Pina and Aninha T. Sylvia. Funeral Information Following cremation, a private service will be held at a later date.
