Emma A. Franco, 96, of South Easton, formerly of Brockton, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at St. Joseph's Manor, Brockton. Born in Brockton, she was the wife of the late Raymond Franco, to whom she was married for 59 years. Emma was a graduate of Brockton High School, class of 1943, and worked as an office worker for most of her life, including the former Brockton Savings Bank and the Law Firm of Frenette and Associates. She was the daughter of the late Nicola and Anna (Grilli) Grimaldi, and sister of the late Richard Grimaldi and wife Josephine (Poillucci) Grimaldi and the late Teresa Grimaldi. Most of all she loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her nieces Anne (Grimaldi) Ferreira and her late husband Francis Ferreira of Taunton and Mary-Ellen (Grimaldi) Smiley and her husband David of South Easton; and several cousins. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at St. Joseph's Manor and Hospice Services of Massachusetts for their care and support. Her family will receive visitors at the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St. (Rt.123), Brockton on Wednesday, May 4th from 9:00-10:00 AM followed by a funeral mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 439 Torrey St., Brockton at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton.
