EMMETT ROYSTER Emmett Royster, 68, Known as " SOUL or POP " to his family and friends passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at home with his family at his side. He was the husband of Candida "Candi" (Sneed ) Royster Born on August 15, 1950 in Anne Arundel, Maryland to the late Early A. Royster and Amie V. (Bradshaw ) Royster . He moved to Brockton with his family at an early age and attended Brockton Public Schools and Graduated from Brockton High School. He Joined the United States Army and served in Soul, Korea. He was retired from the VA Hospital in Brockton after many years of service. Emmett enjoyed playing cards, basketball,softball,and was a great pool player. Besides his Wife, he is survived by his son, Emmett "EJ" Royster; he also leaves to cherish his memories, his grandchildren, Chyenne, Keylan, Azyia, Jeneya, Maria, and Teneja; his siblings, Stella Brockington and husband Leland, Callie Royster and wife Gracious, Ira Royster and wife Corine and Sean Royster: his uncle, Patrick Royster and a host of other family and friends. He was also the brother of the late Valarie , Patrick, Early and Van Royster.
