Epaminondas "Nondas" Gioulis, 92, of Brockton passed away on Monday, June 28, 2021 at the Sachem Nursing Home in East Bridgewater. He was the husband of Helen (Zotos) Gioulis.
Born in the Village of Politsani in the greater Region of North Epirus, Greece on February 6, 1929, he was the son of the late Andrew Gioulis and Marika (Papacosta) Gioulis.
Nondas was a master electrician and owned Nondas Electric Company for over 60 years. He was a member of AHEPA and the Masons as well as the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Brockton, serving as a past president.
In addition to his wife Helen, Nondas is survived by his children Mary-Ann Walsh and her husband David, Stephen Gioulis and Suzanne Barrus and her husband Glenn; his grandchildren David J. Walsh, Stephanie Walsh, Jessica L. Barrus, Juliana C. Barrus and Daniel R. Barrus; his sisters Casiani Kushta and Sevasti Ndini; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 457 Oak St., Brockton on Friday, July 2nd from 10:00-11:00AM followed by a funeral service in the church at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. There will be a makaria following the internment, also at the Greek Orthodox Church.
