Erasmia "Rose" (Contos) Samaras Erasmia "Rose" (Contos) Samaras , 86, of Brockton, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at the Hellenic Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Canton. She was the wife of the late Paul T. Samaras. Born march 24, 1924 in Rothohori, Greece, she was the daughter of the late Alexandros Contos and Soultana (Athamos) Samaras. Mrs. Samaras was a seamstress for the Davis Clothing Company in Brockton for over 30 years. She was a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Brockton and enjoyed knitting and cross stitching. She is survived by her children, Thomas P. Samaras and his wife Kathleen and Sally Mitoulis and her husband Harry; her grandchildren, Maria Mitoulis, Thomas Samaras, Jr. and Christopher Samaras. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Monday, March 7th at 11:00AM followed by a funeral service in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 457 Oak St., Brockton at 12:00PM.
