Eric K. Johansen, 33, of Falmouth passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at the Morton Hospital in Taunton.

Born on November 6, 1989, he is the son of Kenneth R. Johansen and the late Debra M. Johansen, and loving brother to Patrick T. Johansen, Jason P. Johansen and Jenna M. Willett. Raised in West Bridgewater, he graduated from West Bridgewater High School class of 2008.

Eric enjoyed spending time with his family and would seize every opportunity to gather with them as often as he could, especially for holidays, birthdays and Sunday dinners. The love and care he had for his mother, Debra, was above all else. He cherished many of the same qualities and interests they shared, from gardening, keeping a neat yard and feeding the birds to early morning sunrises and the sunsets that followed. His passion for music, sports and his love for animals was evident in all aspects of his life. Eric's warm, charismatic and caring nature is the reason he could make friends anywhere he went. His selflessness and attentiveness to others are just some of the many amazing qualities about him, but his ability and willingness to keep pushing forward even through the hardest of times always defined who he was.

In addition to his brothers and sister, Eric is survived by his Grandmother, Carole Ann Foley, his Aunt and Uncle Susan and Edward Johnson, his girlfriend Katherine McEvoy as well as many friends and extended family. He is predeceased by his "Papa" the late Thomas J. Foley.

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, April 21st in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 S. Main St., (Rt. 28) West Bridgewater from 3:00-6:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 6:00 PM
