Online Obituaries Erifili "Fili" (Giannaros) Tsitsos, 91, of Brockton, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, October 29, 2013. She was the wife of the late Christopher Tsitsos. Born on September 12, 1922 in Politsani, Greece, she was the daughter of the late Athanasios Giannaros and Kalianthi (Mantgiaris) Giannaros. Fili immigrated to Brockton in 1954. She was known to be a great cook, baker and an avid gardener. She was a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church and a member of the Ladies Philoptochos Society. She is survived by her daughters, Katherine Vlavianos and her husband James of Albertson, New York, Anna T. Tsitsos of Brockton and the late Eleni Tsitsos; her granddaughters, Nicole and Jennifer Vlavianos both of NY; her sister, Barbara Economos and her husband Christ of NY; her brother, James Giannaros and his wife Athena of NJ; she is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Saturday, November 2nd at 9:00AM followed by a funeral service in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 457 Oak St., Brockton at 10:00AM. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home Friday 4:00-8:00PM.
