Erma E. Gainey Erma Elizabeth Gainey, 94, of Boston, died Friday, November 16, 2007 at the Guardian Center in Brockton after a short period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Walter S. Gainey. Born December 30, 1912 in Boston, she was the daughter of the late John Flowers and Nellie (Prince) Flowers. Mrs. Gainey lived most of her life in Boston area and was devoted to her home and family. She is survived by her son, Walter S. Gainey, Jr., of Brockton; she is also survived by 5 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Robert A. Gainey. Funeral Information A Memorial Service will be held in the Eliot Church of Roxbury, 56 Dale St., Roxbury (at the corner of Walnut) on Sunday,January 13th at approximately 1:00PM (following Sunday's regular church services).
