Online Obituaries Ernest D. Albanese, Jr., 90, of Brockton, passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at the Life Care Nursing Home of West Bridgewater. He was the husband of the late Marie P. Albanese. Born September 11, 1926 in Brockton, MA he was a son of the late Ernest D. Albanese, Sr. and Lena (Perrotta) Albanese. Raised and educated in Brockton, Ernest was a graduate of Brockton High School. He was a Veteran of WWII serving his country in the United States Navy. Ernest was a machinist for Boston Gear Works for many years. Some of his hobbies included woodworking, clock building, yardwork and cooking, especially cooking pizza. He is survived by his daughters, Dianne M. Caffelle and her husband David of Raynham and Donna M. Cook and her husband Craig of Plymouth; his grandchildren, Christina Caffelle and her husband Rich Leavitt, Leanne Almeida and her husband Julio, Melissa Macomber and her husband Matthew and Jonathan Cook and his wife Candace; his great grandchildren, Emilia, Sydney, Julian, Matthew, Talan, Nolan, Braden and Hunter; and his sister, Eleanor Loftus. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral Services will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Friday, April 14th at 11:30AM. Interment will follow with Military Honors in the VA National Cemetery, Bourne. Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home on Thursday from 4:00PM 7:00PM.
