Ernestine (Droukas) Pappas Ernestine (Droukas) Pappas , 87, of Brockton died Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton. She was the wife of Peter J. Pappas for over 47 years. Born May 24, 1920 in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Pantelis Droukas and Desma (Pappas) Droukas. She was a lifelong resident of Brockton and graduated from Brockton High School. She also attended Brockton Business College. She worked as a secretary for Potvin Shoe Company for many years. She was a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church of Brockton. She belonged to the Annunciation Greek Ladies Philoptochos Society and to the Daughters of Penelope. She loved music and enjoyed playing the piano and violin. She is survived by her husband, Peter J. Pappas of Brockton; her siblings, Helen (Droukas) Montgomery of Brockton, Nicholas Droukas of Middleboro; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was also sister of the late Peter Droukas. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton on Saturday, October 20th at 9:00AM followed by a funeral service in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 457 Oak St., Brockton at 10:00AM.
