Estelle (Chitopoulos) Hebshie, 90, of Brockton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 27, 2025 surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife of the late Fred Hebshie for 61 years.
Born April 29, 1935 in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Achilles Chitopoulos and Vasiliki (Karadimos) Chitopoulos. A lifelong Brockton resident, she was a past member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church and she graduated from Brockton High School class of 1953.
Estelle began her career at the former Household Finance Company in Brockton for 10 years then worked at District Attorney Willam O'Malley's office for 20 years. Following her retirement she worked as a travel agent at Avon Travel, along with volunteering her time at the Visiting Nurse Association of Brockton.
Estelle will always be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and her unconditional love to all that knew her. Estelle and Fred enjoyed adventurous cruises with her friends and she loved summers on Cape Cod with family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Linda Mihos and her husband Jim (Gee), Fred Hebshie and Karen Bishop; her grandchildren, Marissa Christina Mihos and Peter Gregory Mihos and great grandmother of Lily-James. She was pre-deceased by her granddaughter Christina Marie Mihos and her brother Constantine (Charlie) Chitopoulos. Estelle is also survived by sister-in-law Eugenia (Ghikas) Chitopoulos and several nieces and nephews.
Her Wake will be at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 457 Oak Street, Brockton on Friday, October 3rd, 2025 at 10:00 AM followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM with Internment to follow at Melrose Cemetery.
