Online Obituaries Esther Georgantas, 94, of Brockton, passed away Monday, August 14, 2017 at BayPointe Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center. Born June 22, 1923 in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Georgantas and Constantina (Stamos) Georgantas. A lifelong Brockton resident, she graduated from Brockton High School. Esther worked for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Secretary for many Judges for over 25 years and also in the Probation Department. She was a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church and she had volunteered at the Fuller Art Museum. She is survived by many nephews and nieces. She was the sister of the late Alice, Terry and George Georgantas. Funeral Information Calling hours will be held in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 457 Oak St., Brockton on Friday, August 18th from 9:30-11:00AM followed by a funeral service in the church at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
