Funeral Service in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Monday at 10 am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery. Visiting hours Sunday 2-5 pm.

Obituary

Ethan R. Chilton died Tuesday evening following a car accident in Fall River. Born in Stoneham, raised in Brockton, he was a 1996 graduate of South Eastern Vocational Technical School. At the time of his death he was an apprentice plumber, attending evening classes at South Eastern Vocational Technical School for his journeyman’s license. Previously he had worked as a salesman at Staples in Avon and Home Depot in Hingham. He enjoyed listening to and singing rap music, expressive journal writing, painting, fishing, hiking and skate boarding.

He is survived by his wife, Jackie A. (Collins) Chilton of Brockton, a son, Ethan Smith of MD, a stepson David Burgo of Brockton, his parents, Randall of Boston and Janet R. (Peterson) Chilton of Brockton, a sister, Naomi G. Chilton of Brockton and a niece Nadia Chilton of Brockton.
