Eugenia "MaMa" Cardoso Eugenia "MaMa" Cardoso , 73, died Sunday, November 9, 2008 at her home in Brockton. Born May 3, 1935 in Fogo, Cape Verde she was the daughter of the late Leonardo Cardoso. Mrs. Cordoso was a resident of Brockton for the last 11 years and was a communicant of St. Edith Stein Parish. She is survived by her children, Maria Andrade and Antonio Cardoso; her brother, Manuel Cardoso; she is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Wednesday at 9:00AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Edward/St Edith Stein Parish, 71 East Main St., Brockton at 10:00AM.
