Obituary

Eugenia Pires (Gomes) DaSilveira, 74 years of Brockton, died Saturday at her home after a lengthy illness. She was born in Fogo, Cape Verde, daughter of the late Leao Pires and Feliciana (Mendes) Gomes

She had been a resident of Brockton for the past two years, and was a self employed seamstress.

She is survived by her husband Alberto DaSilveira, six sons, Damiao, Jose, Manuel, Paulo, Alberto and Arnaldo DaSilveira and five daughters Adelina, Feliciana, Maria, Josefa, and Luisa DaSilveira, and 36 grandchildren

A Funeral Service will be held in the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Wednesday at 9:30am. Burial will follow in Mount St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket, RI Visiting hours Tuesday 5-8 pm.
