Eugenia Pires, 85, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2020 at St. Ann's Hospital in Fall River. She was the wife of the late Joao Antonio Pires. Born in Brava, Cape Verde, she was the daughter of the late Seliro and Maria Andrade. Eugenia enjoyed going to church every Sunday, gardening, cooking for her family and traveling. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren watching Jerry Springer. She is survived by her children, Maria Pires, Joao Pires, Antonio Pires and Viriato Pires; grandchildren Maria Pagan, Arlice da Veiga, Joao Da Veiga, Benvindo Barros, Viriato Barros, TJ Pires, Joao Pires, Maria Pires, Gina Pires and Zachary Pires; great-grandchildren Stephanie Pina, Kitana Diaz Pina, Rihanna Pagan, Justice Pacheco, Davon Barros, Dayvion Barros, Dion Barros and Taliyah Barros; and great-great-grandchildren Luis Morales and Caleb Andrade.
