Evelyn S Young passed away peacefully on April 10th at the age of 84, in Kingston MA.

Evelyn was born July 1, 1938, to Helen and Lemuel Gay in Stoughton MA. She graduated from Stoughton High in 1956.

Before marriage she worked for the telephone company in Boston. After raising her children, she went back to work as a cook in various establishments.

Evelyn like to travel and enjoyed her trips to Bahama's, Hawaii, Austria, Alaska and Israel. She enjoyed gardening and cooking for others. She was very active in her church, Cochesett United Methodist Church. She enjoyed living in West Bridgewater in the later part of her life and made many friends during her time residing there.

Evelyn was predeceased by her parents Helen and Lemuel, her brother Norman, sister Dorothy, first husband Alfred and second husband Donald. She is survived by her son Alfred, daughter in law Susan, daughter Cheryl, son in law Dean, grandchildren Danielle, Michael, Cathy and great grandchildren Jordan, Logan, Sophia and AJ. As well as many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will take place at Cochesett United Methodist Church, 517 W. Center Street, West Bridgewater, MA 02379 on May 20th at 9:30 am, followed by fellowship and burial in the PIne Hill Cemetery in West Bridgewater.
