Obituary

Evelyn M. (Annis) Leonard, age 80, of Brockton, died August 23, 2016. She was the wife of Daniel J. Leonard. Born in Providence, RI, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mae Leonard. Evelyn was raised and educated in Pawtucket, RI, and had been a longtime resident of Brockton. For over 30 years, she was employed by A&Z Hayward Company in East Providence, RI. Evelyn loved being with her grandchildren and family and also enjoyed cooking and baking.

Evelyn is survived by her twin sons Timothy J. Leonard of Hanahan, SC and Daniel R. Leonard and his wife Susan of West Bridgewater, and three grandchildren Matthew R., Sean T., and Emily L. Leonard.

Graveside services will be held at Knollwood Memorial Park, 321 High Street, Canton, Friday at 10am, followed by a funeral service at South Shore Community Church, 191 Torrey Street, Brockton at 11:30am. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in Evelyn’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
